Dear friends,

These are informationcompiled as QA by me in 1998’s-2014’s and stored in my
computer. They areposted by very  learnt doctors inkidshealth.org etc.

Many improvements have come in medical field. Hence some information may have
additions or some times changes.

These are for general information, andfor  any health  problem one has to
consult doctor.

BEING COMPILATION THERE MAY BE  ERRORS.

Q1 What is an oral glucose tolerance test?
A1 An oral glucose tolerance test measures your body's response to sugar.First
your fasting blood sugar level is measured. Then you drink a sugary solution.
Your blood sugar level is measured after onehour and again after two hours. If
your blood sugar level rises more thannormal, you may have diabetes. A normal
blood sugar level after an oralglucose tolerance test is lower than 140 mg/dL.

Q2 What isGlycated hemoglobin (A1C) test?

A2 An A1C test, also known as a glycated hemoglobintest, isn't used for
diagnosing prediabetes or diabetes. Instead,it gauges how well you're managing
your diabetes.

Unlike a fasting blood glucose test or a dailyfinger stick, both of which
measure your blood sugar level at a given time, theA1C test reflects your
average blood sugar level forthe past two to three months. Test results show
what percentage of your hemoglobin — aprotein found in red blood cells — is
sugar coated (glycated).

What's normal?

The normalrange for people without diabetes is 4 percent to 6 percent.

An A1C level lower than 7 percent is a common target for people with diabetes

The normal range for A1C results may vary somewhatamong labs. If you consult a
new doctor or use a different lab, it's importantto consider this possible
variation when interpreting your test results.

My note- Presentday studies state HB1AC is still higher with many having PP
normal. This isbecause highblood sugar carried  over from morning.
Theadjustment of a night insulin can reduce HB1AC drastically by increasing
nightinsulin with people taking insulin. Consult doctor for more details. Ihad
my HB1AC reduced  to about normal byadjusting my night extra insulin before bed
time

Q3 Is it dangerousto  turn on A/C immediately as soon asyou enter the car?

A3 Yes.Open the windows after you enter your car and do not turn ON the
air-conditioning  immediately.

According to aresearch done, the car dashboard, sofa, air freshener emits
Benzene , a Cancercausing toxin (carcinogen-take note of the heated plastic
smell in your car).

In addition tocausing cancer, it poisons    your bones, causes anemia, and
reduces white blood cells . Prolonged    exposure         will cause Leukemia,
increasing therisk of cancer may also cause miscarriage.

AcceptableBenzene level indoors is 50 mg per sq. ft. A car parked  indoors with
the windows closed will contain 400-800 mgof Benzene. If parked   outdoors
under the sun at a temperature above 60degrees F, the Benzene level goes up
to2000-4000 mg, 40 times the acceptable level ... & the people inside   the car
will    inevitably inhale an excess amount of thetoxins.

It is recommendedthat you open the windows and door to give time   for   the
interior to air out before you enter.

Benzene is atoxin that affects your  kidney andliver, and is very difficult for
your body to expel this     toxic stuff.

Q4 When do type 2diabetics occur?

A4 Type 2diabetes occurswhen the body stops producing enough insulin forit to
function properly, or when the body's cells do not reactto insulin.

This is calledinsulin resistance. However, patients who developed diabetes
showed arapid acceleration in both fasting and post-meal blood glucose levels
startingthree years before they were diagnosed with the condition.

My note- There can be external insulinrejection also after many years of taking
insulin. This can beabove 15-20 years, after synthetic insulin has been used.
The next treatment  is dialysis.

Q5 Do pomegranatejuice is good to prevent  prostatecancer?

A5.Pomegranatejuice could help prevent prostate cancer recurrence, finds a new
study."This study suggests that pomegranate juice may effectivelyslow the
progression of prostate cancer after unsuccessful treatment,"said Dr
Christopher Amling, an AUA spokesman.

Q6 Do cabbage is asubstitute to viagra?

A6"Theknowledge collected at King’s College shows pickled cabbageis the best
natural Viagra. It may be hard to believe thatsaurkraut is one of most powerful
aphrodisiacs, but the British data isconclusive." "I can only suggest all men
try it. Eat cabbagetwice a day and observe how your sexual power increases."
