Your body may notdrop a message,

Like hey charu, today you have prevented your body from chronic inflammations,
like all otherday, you protected yourself from getting cancer ( again this
doesn't mean thosewho are diagnosed with cancer aren't eating healthy, there
are tons of reasonswhy people suffer from cancer.)

Or it may not tellus, hey because of your consistent consumption of veggies and
fruits on aregular basis. Your gut health, stamina, mood swings, joint health,
bone, eyes, sensory organs are working optimally.

I wish our bodieswould drop a message, whenever you consume food which are full

Q6           How long do railway crossing lightsstay green if no train is
coming?

A6           Shyamal Kanti Biswas, Former PCSTECentral Rly at Indian Railways
(2017–2019)20h

If you are talkingabout Level Crossings, there are no Green signal for the road
users. It is Yellow when the gate is open and Red when closedfor the road users.

The reason for theYellow signal is to alert the road users to cross the Rly
lines carefully.

MY NOTE- In the electric train route in Chennai, weobserve many times the green
lights  andno train comes and changes to yellow  andread in a station. PROBABLY
this can be due to no scheduled times at that time, and signal appear as per a
systematic arrangement.

Q7           According to evolution, if ugly mencouldn't attract mates to
reproduce, why is it there are still ugly men onearth?

A7           Matt Riggsby, MA Archaeology, BostonUniversity Updated Fri

“According to evolution, if ugly men couldn'tattract mates to reproduce”

I’mma stop youright there. This is a false premise for a number of reasons.

First and foremost, human mating is complicated and multifaceted. Physical
attractiveness is on thelist of reasons to pick a particular mate, but far more
important are thingslike personal affinity, economic and political advantage,
familialarrangements, and thedesire to have some mate instead of having none at
all.

We’d all like toend up with someone pretty, but we’ll be just as happy with
someone who makesus laugh, makes us rich, or makes mom get off our back about
when we’re givingher grandchildren, and a lot of people will eventually give up
the search forMr./Ms. Right and settle for Mr./Ms. Right Now. One need look no
farther thanAnna Nicole Smith and her geriatric tycoon husband or any number of
notparticularly pretty male rock stars and their model/actress girlfriends
andwives to see that one can compensate for a lack of physical attractiveness.
If someone doesn’t get a mate,it’s typically because they don’t want one, with
a handful falling down onevery possible index of appeal (ugly and an unpleasant
personalityand providing no social advantages and demanding to sleep with
supermodelsrather than pick a mate from the available pool), some of which are
matters ofpersonal choice rather than innate qualities.

On top of that, beauty standards are cultural andever-shifting. What’s
attractive now is not goingto be so attractive in a century or two and vice
versa. The example I usuallygive here is that just in white American culture,
we went from dark, boyishflappers like Theda Bara and Clara Bow as our ideals
of female beauty in the1920s to busty blonde bombshells like Jayne Mansfield
and Marilyn Monroe in the1950s and then athletic supermodels like Cindy
Crawford and Christie Brinkleyin the 1980s. What’s ugly vs what’s attractive
not only has minimal influenceon the ability to mate, it changes way faster
than genetics can keep up. To putit another way, we don’t make ugly and pretty
people so much as we decide tochange the definition of ugly and pretty every
now and again.

So, then, according to evolution, physical attractivenessis a cultural
judgement rather than an innate quality, orat least to the extent that it’s
innate (for example, there’s a tendency toprefer symmetry and youth, although
they’re demonstrably just a couple offactors among a great many), it’s clearly
not a major driver of selection. There are ugly people because they are declared
ugly, and while that has somesocial ramifications, it’s not meaningful in an
evolutionary sense.

My note- A good answer. First preference goes tobeauty and attraction
betweenthe young man and women. All the remaining including
physicallychallenged gets somehow a male/female and get satisfied with what
they get.

Above beauty thereare many other things which attract a young female/ male
between the two like wealth, income, knowledgeetc.

Q8           What are the hardest adjustments tomake when visiting Mongolia?

A8           Anand Nyamdavaa,5y

First thing younotice when you arrive in Mongolia is dryness. Your throat dries
up instantly. Keep water nearby, especiallywhen sleeping

Altitude- thoughnot as high as Tibet, Ulaanbaatar city is 1300 meter above sea
level. Some people suffer light formsof altitude sickness.

If you are a cityperson, you will find that darkness in Mongolia is really
dark. Its so dark youwill not see your hands 1 mm away from your face. Also,
its super quiet. Somewould say its deafening quiet. So combination of super
dark and super quiet. Some people find itdifficult the first 1–2 days.

This by far is themost difficult thing to adjust. Toilets are rare and far in
between. So you would be happy to see eventhese ones. Don’t look down. Its not
for the faint hearted….

Q11         What is costly, making 1 km of anational highway or a railway track?

A11         Prashant Tiwari, Indian RailwaysEnthusiast Updated 2y

It is exciting toknow whether building 1 km fourlane national highway is costly
or 1 km ofrailway track.

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) estimate theaverage cost of
building fourlane highways at Rs 8-9 crore per kmand six-lane highways at
around Rs 14 crore per km, inclusive of land costs.

Whereas Construction of one kilometer of normal railwaytrack costs around 10–14
crores whereasconstruction of one kilometer of high speed railway track will
cost Rs 100-140crores.

Constructing onekilometre of metro track costs 60–70 crores.

Note: Construction cost of both highways and railwaytracks depends on various
factors and it may vary time totime and place to place.

Q12         Do rivers freeze totally during winter, and if they do, what happens
to the aquatic life?

A12         David Thomas,Professional Engineer,Civil, Alaska Dec 9

Generallynot, but smaller streams or rivers that do freeze will, yes, kill
things likegrown fish that have remain in the water column.

Othercritters, their eggs or larva, may survive in the deeper sediments, below
thefrost depth.

Slamon eggs, forinstance, are buried in “redds” of gravel (otherwise they’d
wash away and/or bepredated).

As long as there is still some water flow (for dissolvedoxygen) through those
deeper gravels, the eggs survive till Spring.Every single ancestor of those
salmon, going back for millions of years had theinstincts (or the luck) to pick
a gravel bed deep enough or with enough waterflow for the eggs to not freeze in
any previous generation.

I notice that when we’ve had repeated freezes and thaws, the mosquitos aren’t
bad the next year. I suspect that, like meat in the freezer, freezing and
thawing once is okay for the eggs andlarva, but that repeated “freezer burn”
damages them too much.

I returned to alittle lake in the high Sierra Nevada that we’d backpacked to
previously and ithad been a lovely place to camp, but had become VERY buggy -
mosquitos most annoyingly, but lots of other aquatic insects in the water. The
lake was only 6 feet deepand there had been a very cold winter. We theorized
that the lake had frozensolid, killing all the trout in it and letting the bugs
flourish. It made uswish we’d brought a boy trout and a girl trout to
re-establish the fish stockthere as some sportsman or miner did decades
previously.
