Sanskrit is the soul of Indian culture. Indian culture is well established
through Sanskrit. The sixteen rituals performed from the birth of the
child, such as birth, naming, eating and drinking, are prescribed in a
different language. Worship, reading, sacrifices and other rituals are
conducted in this language. This process of editing and refining is called
the culture of the self. The thoughts, costumes, actions and customs of
distinguished men of our country, such as wearing tilak and installing
shikha, are part of our culture. Sanskrit and culture are two of India’s
reputation. Culture is dependent on Sanskrit, as Kapila said -

Sanskrit is the root of Sanskrit and the source of knowledge and science.
It is full of the true meaning of the Vedas and is auspicious for all the
worlds.
Therefore, it can be said that culture and Sanskrit are closely related.
Sanskrit language is essential for the preservation of culture. Our
civilization and culture are found in Sanskrit texts. If the relationship
of culture with Sanskrit is severed, then there is no preservation of
Indian culture. That is why it is said -

A country well endowed with Sanskrit is called Bhārata.
Without Sanskrit a place is simply called Cheṇḍī (Kapila's) As recd The
value and the root of Samskritham. KR IRS 8123
