Q1         People of Vietnam, what’s somethingthat the world says about your
country that frustrates you, but it is not true?

A1         Ngo The Hoan, SoftwareEngineer with an interest in history Updated 3y

The “real Vietnam” or the “authentic Vietnam”.

Every time when a foreignersays the real Vietnam, they expect to find some poor
area with run down housesor a village in a remote place and probably not even
inhabited by ethnicVietnamese.

Anywhere that is developed with modernbuildings or shops with (Vietnamese)
brands and young Vietnamese in goodclothes having fun, they say that’s not the
real Vietnam!

These foreigners shock and baffle me.

Some even dare to say the ancient city of Hoi An is not the real Vietnam, just
because it has modern restaurants and trendy cafes.

The real Vietnam according to ignorant foreigners:

The fake Vietnam, or the Vietnam exploited by “Western commercialism”(According
to them anything more than a hut is the blessing of Westerncivilization and
other people are incapable of achieving the same, if they doit must be because
of Western influence!)

During the past years I have witnessed countless of tourists trying tofind the
“real Vietnam”. They complain of everything being unauthentic,
shunningrestaurants loved by locals because they are too big (large scale
restaurantsare not supposed to be the real Vietnam remember, since Vietnamese
must onlyeat in street stalls as they are incapable of growing a business),
moving tosmall country towns and telling fellow tourists to stay away from a
list of“Westernized” cities because they are too large and unauthentic.
Seriously I can’t help but find everything laughable andridiculous.

Q2         What's the hardest truth of life?

A2         Shubhreet Kaur, Love towrite ✍️Apr 7

Money matters a lot. Without money you reallyare nothing. You are shit in
people's eye.

You shouldn't expect from others to see your side of story or view.
Expectations really 🤕 hurts.

It hurts more in friendship than in love.

Nobody wants you to be successful except your parents.

Looks matter a lot.

We want change but can't be the one to change.

***We want others tounderstand but don't want to understand their situation.

Not everyone is your real friend.

Some dreams are dreams forever.

***We want someone right butdon't try to be the right person.

Not everyone will upvote your answer after reading it.

My note- Very true statements.I don’t think some member willcome up telling I
have not stolen the bowl.

Q3         Why do some passengers get called tothe desk before boarding their
flight?

A3         Erika Fernandez, Experiencein Aviation Field Apr 1

Passengers may be called to the desk before boarding their flight forvarious
reasons.

At check-in, the staff confirmsthat the passenger is the personnamed on the
ticket and that they will be allowed to make their journey. Theymay also scan
the boarding pass to check with another system that someone withthe passenger's
name is on the flight that day.

If a passenger has not yet been checked by theairline to ensure they are able
to fly, they may be called to the desk at thegate. This is typically the case
for passengers whochecked in online and did not check luggage, so they can
headstraight to the gate without interacting with airline staff.

It is important to note that being called to the desk does notnecessarily mean
that there is a problem with the passenger's travel plans. It could simply be a
routine check or a requestfor additional information.

However, if a passenger iscalled to the desk and there is anissue with their
travel plans, it is better to detect the problem while thepassenger is still in
the airport than to have them arrive at their destinationcountry with an issue.

Passengers who crowd the gatebefore boarding are sometimes referred to as "gate
lice". These passengers may be positioning themselves tobe first in line
tosecure overhead bin space for their carry-on bags. However, thisbehavior is a
major flight attendant pet peeve and is not recommended.

My note- In Indian flights the flight attends with a smile rearrange the
luggage. They are very happy nowadays if the passenger keepthe luggage in lap or
below their seat.

Q4         Are MEN way more intelligent thanwomen?

A4         Claire Jordan, Degree inbiology and folklore; programmer, shop
owner, secretary on newspaper8h

No, but because of the unpaired X chromosome men express somerecessive genes
much more often as women do, causing them to end up at the endsof the
bell-curve more often than women do.

One of the results of this is that men and women have the sameaverage
intelligence, but men are more represented at the high *and low* ends.

So, if you take a sample of people in the street them men will appearmore
intelligent, because the really stupid men (and there are more men thanwomen in
this group) are lying in hospital beds going ”Goo” at their own toes, not
walking about in the street.

Q5         What are some weird facts?

A5         Keshav Pant, Tue

As a Nepali Citizen, I can share some weird facts about Nepal.

Nepal is the only country inthe world with a non-quadrilateral flag. Its flag
consists of two overlapping right-angled triangles, which symbolize
theHimalayas and the two main religions of Nepal, Hinduism, and Buddhism.

Nepal is home to the world'sshortest man on record,Chandra Bahadur Dangi, who
stood at just 54.6 cm tall.

The Yeti, a mythical creature resembling a large ape or bear, is said toreside
in the Himalayan region of Nepal. There have been numerous reported
sightingsand claims of evidence, but the existence of the Yeti remainsunproven.

In Nepal, there is a festival called "Gai Jatra," or the Festival of Cows, where
cows are paraded through the streets to commemorate deceased loved ones and
help themreach the afterlife.

Nepal has the highest-altitudelake in the world, Tilicho Lake, whichis located
at an elevation of 4,919 meters (16,138 feet) in the Annapurnamountain range.

Nepal follows a unique calendar systemcalled the "Vikram Samvat,"which is
approximately 57 years ahead of the Gregorian calendar commonly usedworldwide.

The practice of Kumari, or theLiving Goddess, is unique to Nepal. A young
girl, usually from the Newar community, is chosen as the Kumari and worshipped
as aliving embodiment of the goddess Taleju. She is believed to have
divinepowers and plays a significant role in religious and cultural events.

Nepal is one of the few countries in the world that does not have anofficial
rectangular flag. The national flag of Nepal is shaped like twopennants stacked
on top of each other.

The town of Pokhara in Nepal isknown for its "Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave," which
has a natural limestone formation thatresembles the female reproductive organ
and is considered sacred by Hindus.

In Nepal, there is a traditioncalled "Jhāku" where duringthe festival of Bisket
Jatra in Bhaktapur, a massive chariot is pulled by hundredsof people, and the
personwho falls off the chariot is considered lucky and believed to have their
sinswashed away.

Q6         What do I do if side lower passenger isnot allowing me to sit on
side lower berth in daytime if I have confirmed sideupper ticket in 3AC? Side
lower passenger has confirmed ticket and not RAC.

A6         Prashant Tiwari,IndianRailways Enthusiast1h

As per the railway rules, sideupper and upper berth passengers have full rights
to sit on side lower or lowerberths in the daytime. This ruleis not applicable
between 22:00 and 06:00, which is a sleeping time.

You can do the followingthings if any passenger is violating the
above-mentioned rule:

1. Inform the passenger aboutthis rule and warn him/her tofollow it; otherwise,
you have a right to file a complaint for the same.

Note: If there is a lady who is violating the rule, try to involve
yourco-passengers first. Make sure your co-passengers are listening to
yourconversation with her, or you can record your conversation by putting your
facein the camera.

2. If the passenger is stillnot listening to you, do thefollowing things:

a) Try to contact the TTE orRPF on board if they pass throughyour coach in the
next few minutes. If not,

b) File a complaint againstthe passenger through the railmadad portal. All you
need is a PNR number and a working phone number. Aresponse will be provided
within 30 minutes of your complaint.

C) You can also tweet yourconcern by tagging the rail sewa, the ministry of
railways, and Shri Ashwini Vaishnav ji. However, the concernwill be forwarded
to the Raild Madad Portal, so it is better to directly fileyour complaint to
the Portal to reduce the action time.

My note- Many times the person relaxing will ask the side upper berth manto sit
in some other seat, sometimes like a command.

Q7         How do you figure out whichpole/transformer your home transformer is
connected to?

A7         Sage, AI bot Beta

To determine which pole or transformer your home transformer is connectedto,
you can contact yourlocal electricity provider. They will likely have detailed
informationabout the specific transformer that serves your property and the
infra

2ND ANSWER- StevenWilson, MSEE & BSEE, 50+yrs NW R&D EE, Power/Control/Comm
Systems 3y

If your service is overhead, it should look a lot like this:

The different sections of the 120/240V service later are separated byinsulators
where they connect to the pole. Follow the overhead line from theweather head
feeding your service panel back to the service lateral,  and follow the pole
line in each directionuntil you find the transformer feeding that section.

If your service is underground, then your transformer is probably the one
nearest your house (depending on the neighborhood, each transformersupplies a
dozen residences).

My note- In Chennai,India,  it is common to see in which nearby street power
supply is there and lights areON  and locate their transformer first, then
decide their transformer, another near them.

Q8         What should I know before I buy alaptop?

A8         Digital Services AndProducts, Business Consultant | Digital
Marketing Services | IT Guru20h

Before buying a laptop, thereare several factors to consider to ensure that you
get the best value for yourmoney.

In this article, we will explore the key considerations that you shouldkeep in
mind when purchasing a laptop.

1. Purpose:

Before you start shopping for a laptop, you need to determine the purposeof the
laptop. Are you buying a laptop for gaming, work, or just casual use?Knowing
the purpose of the laptop will help you narrow down the list of
optionsavailable in the market.

2. Processor:

The processor is the most important component of a laptop. It determineshow
fast the laptop can perform tasks.

Intel and AMD are the two most popular brands of processors. Intelprocessors
are generally more powerful, while AMD processors are moreaffordable.

3. RAM:

Random Access Memory (RAM) is the temporary memory that a computer usesto store
data that it is currently working on. The more RAM a laptop has, the more
programs it can runat the same time. A minimum of 8GB of RAM is recommended for
mostlaptops.

4. Storage:

There are two types of storage available in laptops: Solid State Drives(SSDs)
and Hard Disk Drives (HDDs). SSDs are faster and more reliable thanHDDs, but
they are also more expensive. If you need a lot of storage, an HDDmight be a
better choice.

5. Display:

The display is an important factor to consider when purchasing a laptop.Screen
size, resolution, and color accuracy are all important factors toconsider. If
you plan on using the laptop for graphic design or gaming, alaptop with a
high-resolution display and a high refresh rate is recommended.

6. Battery Life:

Battery life is also an important factor to consider when buying alaptop. If
you plan on using the laptop on the go, a laptop with a longerbattery life is
recommended.

7. Weight:

If you plan on carrying your laptop around with you, the weight of thelaptop is
an important consideration. ***A lightweight laptop is easier to carryaround,
but it may not be as powerful as a heavier laptop.

8. Connectivity:

The ports and connectivity options available on a laptop are
importantconsiderations. Makesure the laptop has enough USB ports, HDMI ports,
and other connectivityoptions that you may need.

9. Brand and Support:

The brand of the laptop and the support available are also importantfactors to
consider. Choose a reputable brand that has agood track record of producing
quality laptops. Also, make sure that thelaptop comes with a warranty and that
the company provides good customersupport.

10. Price:

The price of the laptop is also an important consideration. Determineyour
budget and look for laptops that fit within that budget. Keep in mind that the
more powerful andfeature-packed a laptop is, the more expensive it will be.

In conclusion, buying a laptop can be a daunting task, but by consideringthe
factors discussed above, you can ensure that you get a laptop that meetsyour
needs and is worth your money.

My note- Home laptops which most use with MicrosoftExcel and word, light weight
is available in brands around 50000-00. Lessreputed with in 35000-00 in India.
