Novelist Chimamanda Adichie tells the story of how she found her authentic cultural voice -- and warns that if we hear only a single story about another person or country, we risk a critical misunderstanding. But she is a good writer and Iread 2 of her books. As in TN writes as Tamilian culture, she had painstakingly, everywhere, added that. But Goebbels only write our history and people would believe it. Today I was reading euclid maths books of vol 13 in 2 books, ,full of maths solutions, written by 2 Pennsylvania and one russian working in USA university, professors; I just want to know the reason, why while the Indian writers , write the names of the west , in their books of local languages, including English, whereas, they do not cross us, in spite of thousands of volumes sold in Amazon com. Simple. We carry no better knowledge about ourselves; and they do or pretend as if they do not know about us; and they have brainwashed us, by feeding us a lot in the web sites. The Indian writers plan for the world market, while the west market is so wide. Hence, they ignore India. Not only India is an oldest civilisation, but also Africa, South America, Mexico etc. In the math book on Euclid geometry in the preface, as well as the Introduction, they had written the history of Maths. They open with the sentence there are so many debatable facts about the origin of Maths. Then they say, as Euclid had written in his script, Aristotle Is the forefather of Maths because of the book he followed. But Aristotle was not a mathematician. And he wrote (Aristotle) that, It is not Egypt as the origin of Maths but close to Egypt was. Now the Maths authors of the Euclid book should have written about how near to Egypt is WHO?. BUT STARTED ADDING Greece is the origin as evidence of writing were available. Writing evidence is the evidence for the west. Then they add, Egypt in 3000 BCE and Babylonian in 2600 BCE had the stone inscriptions and clay tabloids, hence evidence. They wrote that EGYPT had floods often of the Nile and lands were destroyed, so in order to renew the land records, geometry was followed but accuracy was poor, as they were following wrong formulae. Babyloanian wrote squares and circles in clay tabloid decipherable , though not accurate. And in 6 pages, one line runs through, as It is believed that India had some sulvasutras (spelling is only sulva) and since they had them on papyrus and Palm leaves, date of origin is unknown hence cannot be accepted as evidence. But at the same tone they say, both the Egyptians and the Babylonians had written only on papyrus and it is believed , even though palm leaves are stronger. Thus west do not care about any other civilisations though the current african lady wrote as Rajaram writes. Unless we ignore them, the west, and raise our exposures , one or two adichies are not enough.
