Good one! As far as the positive thoughts invocation it is fine. After
all the young ones must be encouraged; for that matter, any one in duality
nust be encouraged to advance. However that is what the astrologers of
lower levels do. Stones. directions so on and so forth positive coaxing
words are being uttred. But when they grow up, they look around. 100 people
told me. Positive thoughts of the west; Sigmund Freud theorems; 0ut of 100
one only who wanted to become top echelon inculcating that thought rose up.
None else. That might deteriorate them too. Our scriptures did not say so.
They trained us to take things casually and try to march forward as far as
we can, without emotional action; desire to move but without the Greed. We
were taught, if it is done it is for good; if it is not done, then also it
is for good.
2 Satya sai Puttaparthi long ago in his speech said while reciting Smd
Bhagavatham with the B G. He uttered as if it is a veda vakya YAT BHAVO TAT
BHAVATHI. HE ALSO SAID YOU BECOME WHAT YOU BELIEVE. THERE IS NO SUCH VEDA
VAKYA ANYWHERE IN OUR SCRIPTURES. Sooner than later, many started in their
Pep talks quoting this as Veda vakya ; many started releasing B G as
WHATEVER HAPPENED HAPPENED FOR GOOD. What is happening too is for good;
and what will happen will also be good. So on scrolls hanging in every
home.
3 Our philosophy is simple; you are born according to the Karma; so
everything shall happen only according to what is written already; fate;
but the vedas said you have to do the yagna for the sake of the world.
Action must be there, irrespective of the result. Do all the actions in the
name of your GOD. Swadharma is the best action. A cat can only be a cat; a
dog is only a dog; so too every specie HAS SWABHAVA. The Bhava which Sai of
Puttaparthi uttered. Bhava has several meanings ; it is" bhaava" (long) as
well as "bhava" (short).
Bhava (भव).—*a.* [*bhavatyasmāt, bhū-apādāne ap*] (At the end of comp.)
Arising or produced from, originating in. -vaḥ 1 Being, state of being,
existence, (*sattā*); तथाप्यहं योषिदतत्त्वविच्च ते दीना दिदृक्षे भव मे
भवक्षितिम् (*tathāpyahaṃ yoṣidatattvavicca te dīnā didṛkṣe bhava me
bhavakṣitim*) Bhāgavata 4. 3.11.
Bhāva (भाव) refers to “feelings”, according to Kālidāsa’s Raghuvaṃśa
verse 8.53. 1) Being, existing, existence; नासतो विद्यते भावः (*nāsato
vidyate bhāvaḥ*) Bhagavadgītā (Bombay) 2.16.
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 1.5.18: पृथिव्यै चैनमग्नेश्च दैवी वागाविशति ।
सा वै दैवी वाग्यया *यद्यदेव* *वदति* *तत्तद्भवति* ॥ १८ ॥ I-v-18: The divine
organ of speech from the earth and fire permeates him. That is the divine
organ of speech through which whatever he says is fulfilled.
The 8.6th verse of Bhagavad Gita conveys similar message to "as

*yaṁ yaṁ vāpi smaran bhāvaṁ **tyajaty ante kalevaram **taṁ tam evaiti

Whatever state of being one remembers when he quits his body, that state he
will attain without fail. ONE BECOMES WHAT IS HE THINKING ONLY IN THE LAST
DAY.
*The divine organ of speech*, that which relates to the gods, *from the
earth and fire permeates him*, this man who has entrusted this duties to
his son. The divine organ of speech, consisting of the earth and fire, is
the material of the vocal organs of all. But (in an ignorant man) it is
limited by attachment and other evils pertaining to the body. In the case
of the sage, these evils being eliminated, it becomes all-pervading, like
water, or like the light of a lamp, when its obstruction has been removed.
This is expressed by the text, ‘The divine organ of speech from the earth
and fire permeates him.’ And *that is the divine organ of speech*, devoid
of the evils of falsehood etc. and pure, *through which whatever he says* about
himself or others *is fulfilled.* That is, his speech becomes infallible
and irresistible.
However there is one truth said in Chandogya upanishad: Verse
6.9.3
त इह व्यघ्रो वा सिंहो वा वृको वा वराहो वा कीटो वा पतङ्गो वा दंशो वा मशको वा
यद्यद्भवन्ति तदाभवन्ति ॥ ६.९.३ ॥
ta iha vyaghro vā siṃho vā vṛko vā varāho vā kīṭo vā pataṅgo vā daṃśo vā
maśako vā yadyadbhavanti tadābhavanti || 6.9.3 ||
3. Whatever they were before in this world—whether a tiger or lion or
leopard or boar or bug or insect or flea or mosquito—they are born again.
[They never know that they came from Sat].
Verse 6.9.4
स य एषोऽणिमैतदात्म्यमिदं सर्वं तत्सत्यं स आत्मा तत्त्वमसि श्वेतकेतो इति भूय
एव मा भगवान्विज्ञापयत्विति तथा सोम्येति होवाच ॥ ६.९.४ ॥ ॥ इति नवमः खण्डः ॥
sa ya eṣo'ṇimaitadātmyamidaṃ sarvaṃ tatsatyaṃ sa ātmā tattvamasi śvetaketo
iti bhūya eva mā bhagavānvijñāpayatviti tathā somyeti hovāca || 6.9.4 || ||
iti navamaḥ khaṇḍaḥ ||
4. ‘That which is the subtlest of all is the Self of all this. It is the
Truth. It is the Self. That thou art, O Śvetaketu

then said,] ‘Sir, please explain this to me again.’ ‘Yes, Somya, I will
explain it again,’ replied his father.
Nearness to truth is that thou art; you are that is straight
meaning; but when you tvam, try hard, YOU CAN BECOME TAT that.
So our philosophy is asking everyone to do in this world with that
sprit in action and with that spirit to get to another world also.
Tiruvalluvar did it in verse, arul illarkku avvulagamillayangu,porul
