CULTURAL QA 06-2023-02A

Q1           Which gas is used in AC?

A1           Info Sage, Former InsightInvestigator (2018–2022)May 22

The gas typically used in AC systems is known as arefrigerant. The most
commonly used refrigerant in AC systems is ahydrofluorocarbon (HFC) called
R-410A.

R-410A is a blend of two HFC refrigerants, R-32 andR-125.

It is widely used in modern AC systems due toits favorable properties for
cooling applications.

R-410A is non-toxic, non-flammable, and has excellentthermodynamic properties
that make it an efficient and effective refrigerant.

The primaryfunction of the refrigerant in an AC system is to absorb heat from
the indoorair and release it to the outdoor environment, thereby cooling the
indoorspace. The refrigerant undergoes a continuous cycle of evaporation
andcondensation, absorbing heat from the indoor air as it evaporates and
releasingheat as it condenses.

The use of refrigerants in AC systems has evolved overtime.

Older AC systems used chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) andhydrochlorofluorocarbons
(HCFCs) as refrigerants, but these have been phased out due to their harmful
effects on the ozone layerand contribution to global warming.

In recentyears, there has been a shift towards more environmentally
friendlyrefrigerants, such as hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs) and natural
refrigerants likehydrocarbons (propane, butane) and carbon dioxide (CO2).

These alternativeshave lower global warming potential and reduced environmental
impact comparedto older refrigerants.

Q2           What are some psychological factsthat people don't know?

A2           RiRi Schatz,Awakening Wanderer9h

Holding hands withsomeone you love can reduce physical pain and stress.

Smiling, even ifyou don’t feel happy, can trick your brain into feeling more
positive.

Writing down your negative thoughts and then discardingthe paper can help you
let go of them mentally.

My note- I don’t think deeper negative thoughts will goin this manner.

Chewing gum canimprove concentration and cognitive performance, as it increases
blood flow tothe brain.

Studies have foundthat spending time in nature can improve mental health and
reduce stresslevels.

Holding a warm cupof tea or coffee can make people perceive others as more warm
and friendly.

Simply thinking about exercise can increase yourmotivation and energy levels.

Giving compliments to others not only makes them feel goodbut also boosts your
own happiness.

My note- There are many who think compliments are burdenand  require
reciprocation.  So on invitations they print-No compliments please.

Spending time withanimals can reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and increase
feelings ofwell-being.

***Making your bedin the morning can give you a sense of accomplishment and set
a positive tonefor the day.

***Yes. I make my bed tidy and then clean my teeth, wash face and start my
works. Nowadays by 4.30 AM I start my works, sinceChennai is very hot and being
in AC room itself is felt not comforting. Now the temperature is 32degrees C
shown in my Laptop.

Q3           What is faster, an aeroplane or ahelicopter?

A3           Erika Fernandez, Experience inAviation Field Feb 16

In general, airplanes are faster than helicopters.Airplanes have a streamlined
design that allows them to move through the airmore efficiently. Theyalso have
a higher cruising altitude, which means they can fly faster and moresmoothly in
the thinner air at higher altitudes. In fact, commercialjetliners can travel at
speeds of up to 600 miles per hour or more, making themmuch faster than
helicopters.

Helicopters, on the other hand, are designed formaneuverability and versatility
rather than speed. While they may not be as fast as airplanes, they are able to
hover in place, take off and landvertically, and fly atlower altitudes than
airplanes. This makes them ideal fortasks such as search and rescue,
transporting cargo or people to remotelocations, and providing close air
support in military operations.

In terms ofspecific speeds, the fastest airplanes are capable of traveling at
speeds ofover 1,000 miles per hour, while helicopters typically have a top
speed of around 200-250 miles perhour. However, it's important to note that
speed is not the onlyfactor to consider when comparing airplanes and
helicopters. Other factors suchas range, fuel efficiency, and maneuverability
may be more important dependingon the specific task or mission.

So while airplanesare generally faster than helicopters, each type of aircraft
has its ownstrengths and weaknesses. Airplanes are faster and more efficient
forlong-range travel, while helicoptersare more maneuverable and versatile for
tasks that require vertical takeoff and landing, hovering, and low-altitude
flight. Ultimately, the choice between anairplane or a helicopter will depend
on the specific needs of the mission ortask at hand.

Q4           Do bananas or oranges have morewater? Why is this so?

A4           Dr. Yamuna,16h

Yes, it is. Bananas contain around 70 – 79% of water. Moreover, dehydration can
cause a deficiency in minerals such as potassium inthe body. Hence, the
intakeof bananas, which are high in water and potassium content, can not only
help toreplenish potassium levels in the body but also prevent dehydration.

Orange also contains nutrients and water, whichmakes it one of the perfect home
remedies for dehydration treatment andprevention. It containsVitamin C, which
flushes the toxins from the body, and electrolytes such assodium and potassium
which help replenish the nutrient levels in the body. The presence of sugar in
this drink provides an instant energy dose helping youto deal with dehydration.

Q5           What are the symptoms of high bloodsugar?

A5           Weights Loss Diet Tips,Health10h

High blood sugar, also known as hyperglycemia, is acondition characterized by
elevated levels of glucose (sugar) in thebloodstream. The symptoms of high
blood sugarcan vary in severity and may include:

1. Increased thirst: experiencing excessive thirstand a constant need to drink
fluids.

2. Frequent urination: needing to urinate morefrequently than usual, including
waking up multiple times during the night tourinate (nocturia).

3. Fatigue: feeling tired, weak, or lacking energyeven after getting enough
rest.

4. Blurred vision: experiencing blurred or impairedvision.

5. Increased hunger: feeling hungry more often andhaving cravings for sugary
foods.

6. Dry mouth: having a persistent dry or stickyfeeling in the mouth.

7. Slow wound healing: cuts, sores, or woundstaking longer to heal than usual.

8. Recurring infections: frequent infections, such asurinary tract infections,
yeast infections, or skin infections.

9. Unexplained weight loss: losing weight withouttrying, despite normal or
increased food intake.

10. Tingling or numbness: experiencing tinglingsensations or numbness in the
hands or feet.

11. Irritability: feeling easily irritated, short-tempered,or having mood
swings.

It'simportant to note that these symptoms can also be indicative of other
healthconditions, so it's crucial to consult a healthcareprofessional for an
accurate diagnosis. Additionally, individuals withtype 2 diabetes may not
exhibit noticeable symptoms of high blood sugar, especially in the early stages.
Regular blood sugar monitoring isrecommended for individuals at risk or
diagnosed with diabetes.

It is my wish togive you good advice, but you must consult a doctor before
taking my advice.
