There is no retirement age in the US. Private jobs in India are somehow
unknown, government jobs are 58 but in the evening, they send you home with
respect.

But in America you can work as long as you want.

We were talking about this today in the minimalist WhatsApp group.

"It is better to work till the last minute of life," remarked one

What are we going to achieve by working for our company till the last
minute of our life? No matter what we call business debt, the benefit of
our labor goes entirely to the employer.

"College professors come to work without rest," noted one

A college dean mentioned this in a seminar.

"In America, you can't say you can't come to work because of your age. But
80 and 90-year-olds continue to come to work and struggle to understand the
technologies in the changed world. Students get tensed when they give
examples from the Kennedy and Nixon eras. You can't directly say that you
quit your job. So we put the car parking area at a distance in our college.
You have to park your car and walk a long way. After changing the car
parking area, many people retired immediately..."
