buddhi-mān—wise; manuṣhyeṣhu—amongst humans; saḥ—they; yuktaḥ—yogis;

karmanye-akarma yah pashyed akarmani -cha-; yah

sa buddhiman manushyeshu sa yuktah kritsna-karma-krit

BG 4.18: Those who see action in inaction and inaction in action are truly
wise amongst humans. Although performing all kinds of actions, they are
yogis and masters of all their actions.

     With this teaching KRISHNA the man of action (KRI) > a yogi, plays a
pun in the word KRI =to do. KARMANI AKAKARMA; AKARMANI CHA KARMA; ACTION IN
INACTION; INACTION IN ACTION; WHO DOES IT? YUKTAH=YOGI, YUKTIMAN; WHO IS
YUKTA? MANUSHYESHU BUDDIMAN= NOT ALL; ONE WHO USES THE BRAIN AMONG THE
HUMAN. WHAT ARE THEY DOING? KRITSNA (SYNC WITH KRISHNA) = A PERFORMER; ONLY
SUCH DO THE PERFORMANCE AND NOT THE REST. KARMA =ACTION; KRIT=ACTING. The
best poem, explaining what is really an action.

      All the human and all other species, are thinking they are working
hard. Action for barter is a kamya karma. That is not an action. That is an
INACTION. Kamya karma is not totally condemned. A Yukta @ yogi does it.
Yogi who does not need anything in life, acts to fulfil that INACTION. He
does not desire but acting.

       na me parthasti kartavyam trishu lokeshu kinchana

nanavaptam avaptavyam varta eva cha karmani

BG 3.22: There is no duty for Me to do in all the three worlds, O Parth,
nor do I have anything to gain or attain. Yet, I am engaged in prescribed
duties.

Krishna says these words in the previous chapter. He uses KARTAVYAM &
KARMANI there. Regarding the gain HE uses AVAPTAVYAM & NONAVAPTAVYAN. HE is
a charioteer for Arjuna; not involved in the war. HE will obey what Arjuna
dictated. INACTION IN ACTION.

           There is the reverse one. Where one need not act in whatsoever
manner, had to act, by perforce; one shall not shirk that assignment
requested; he has no choice to choose his action; reward can be anything;
he may have to face many consequences; yet must act; while acting in full
steam, he will carry it out nonchalant, mechanically as if he is not at all
acting. Action is in both the case becomes fundamental. In both the action,
he has only inaction. He is not affected by the rewards because he is the
soul and not, the body. AS ALL ACTIONS ARE PRECONCEIVED SO TOO ALL THE
REWARDS. An action is so simply defined. KRITSNA KARMA KRIT is a famous
word which is enlightened by so many. Avaptavyan or Na- Avaptavyan Gain or
loss is not the criteria. This is NISHKAMYA KARMA. Mukti is attained only
then. Or else rebirth is certain. ONLY EXCEPTION IS TOLD TO ARJUNA LATER AT
THE END.     K RAJARAM  IRS  22 8 23
