A2         Komal Porwal, Life is not easy19h

1.If a woman is earning, she is earning for herself; if a man is earning, he
isearning for the family (in most cases).

2.If a woman is behind money, then a man is behind beauty. No woman wants a
broke man, andno man wants an ugly woman.

3. Working women received more respectthan house wifes, irrespective of their
work burden.

4.A man's capability is always judged by how much he is earning.

5.And a woman's capability is measured by how beautiful and fit she is.

6.We have true friends in our school life because we are innocent when we
arechildren, and we have fake friends in college because our minds became
corruptwhile growing up.

7.If you look more deeply, you will understand there is no equality;
everythingin this world is unequal

8.If a women really want to get respect then being independent and earning
moneyis the only option.

Q3         What are some of the interesting factsabout India?

A3         Ian O'Grady, Studied TV and FilmProduction16h

There’s a vigilante group of womencalled the Gulabi Gang. The women go after
abusive husbands and fight to stop child marriages, which is a huge problem in
India.

Thegroup started in 2006 due to the lack of police support in these matters.
They promote female education andteach self-defence to other women. They
publicly shame molesters and beat upabusive husbands with big sticks.

When they are not beating down husbands, they are beating down corrupt
politiciansand the right against the oppression of lower caste citizens.

Thegroup boasts around 400,000 members who all wear pink Saris and carry
bigwooden laths for protection.

However, when dealing with abusive husbands, the gang will try to solve the issue
peacefully and will only intervene if thepolice don’t act. If the abuser
doesn’t get the message the first time, the wife will join the woman and kicked
the shit out of the abusive husband.

Q4         What was done with good intentions butwent terribly wrong?

A4         Adam Kite,11h

WhenIndia was under British rule, there was a problem there. There were many
snakes.

Theywere so common that it was dangerous to go out. Snakes were everywhere. The
riskof dying from the fatal bite of such a specimen was too great.

Therefore, the government decided that something needed to be done to prevent
the snakesfrom flooding the land.

Itwas decided to financially reward people who brought in dead snakes. “It's a
win-win situation,” the governmentthought. People will get the money they need
while reducing the snakepopulation.

Thatwent really well for a while.

Underthe government's direction, people dutifully killed snakes in exchange
forhandsome sums of money.

Butpeople think for their own benefit when the situation permits.

Sosome enterprising minds decided to breed snakes and then kill them and
collectthe money for it.

Soonthe government realized what these people were doing and immediately
stopped the bounty program.

The peoplewho bred the snakes for money decided that the only thing that could
be donewith their now worthless snakes was to set them free.

As a result, the snake population grewfaster than ever before.

***This snake effect now also serves asa metaphor for whenone state intervenes
too much and therefore causes the opposite effect.

My note- *** A new information to me.

Q5         Why are the humans the only dominatingspecies on planet Earth?

A5         Silk Road,AI Expert18h

Dowe mean that humans have the most power, influence, or control over the
planetand its resources?

Dowe mean that humans have the most intelligence, creativity, or innovation?

Dowe mean that humans have the most diversity, adaptability, or resilience?

Depending on how you measure thesecriteria, you might get different answers.

Youcould say that bacteria are more dominant thanhumans because they are more
abundant, widespread, and resistant toenvironmental changes.

You could say that ants are moredominant than humans because they have more
complex social structures, cooperative behaviors, andecological impacts.

You could also say plants are more dominantthan humans because they produce
most of the oxygen, food, and biomass on Earth.

However, for the sake of simplicity and convenience, let's assume that
by"dominating" we mean that humans have the most ability to shape andtransform
the planet according to their will and interests.

Inother words, humans have the most agency and autonomy among all living things.

This is a reasonable definition becauseit captures some of the unique features
that distinguish humans from otherspecies, such as language, culture,
technology, art, science, religion, politics, etc. These are the things that make
us human, right?

Now, there are many possible factors thatcould have contributed to our
evolutionarysuccess and dominance:

Factors of biology, such as our largebrains, opposable thumbs, uprightposture,
bipedal locomotion, etc.

These traits gave us an advantage in termsof cognitive abilities,
manualdexterity, mobility, endurance, etc.

Factors of environment, such as ourgeographic origin, climatic changes, natural
disasters, etc.

These events shaped our history and forcedus to adapt and innovate.

Factors of culture, such as our socialorganization, communication systems,
learning methods, moral values, etc.

These aspects enabled us to cooperate and coordinate with each other and pass
on ourknowledge and skills to future generations.

All these factors interacted and influenced each other in complex
anddynamic ways.

Our large brains allowed us to developlanguage andculture; our culture allowed
us to develop technology and science;

Our technology and science allowed us tomodify our environment andbiology; and
so on.

It is hard to pinpoint which factor wasmore important or decisive thanthe
others. It is also hard to say whether our dominance was inevitable
oraccidental. Maybe we were lucky or maybe we were destined.

Inany case, here we are: the only dominating species on planet Earth (for now).

Wehave achieved amazing feats of creativity and innovation; we have also
causedterrible destruction and suffering.

Wehave explored the depths of the oceans and the heights of the skies; we
havealso exploited the resources of the land and the seas.

We have created beautiful art andmusic; we have alsowaged brutal wars and
conflicts.

We have discovered the secrets of natureand life; we have alsoendangered the
balance of ecosystems and biodiversity.

We are a paradoxical species: capableof both greatness and horror;both wisdom
and folly; both love and hate.
