Thanks Sir. Brahmins, developing spines? Which world are you living in Sir?
The fellows who are leading the charge against Bharat and Hinduism are mainly brahmins Sir, a la Ramesh Jairam Ramesh and his ilk. How many muslims or christians have you seen in the debates who criticize us directly - very few, if at all. The whole charge is led by us Hindus, and brahmins - Sumant C Ramans, various hues of Mishras, Tiwaris, Chaturvedis (remember Priyanka Chaturvedi), Srivastavas, Mani Shankar iyers etc. I am sorry Sir, we are perhaps the most selfish race, and don't and won't act unless our personal interests are affected. Our collective silence and worse, indifference to the genocide of the Kashmiri Pandits is just one example of our cowradice, selfishness, spinelessness. There are notable and praiseworthy exce[tions like Vvek Agnihotris, Anand Ranganathans, Sai Deepaks but we will, again, be at the forefront to pull these also down. We will take the easy and cowardly way out saying we don't comment on politics and religion etc. We have our bloody sickular image to maintain. Even here, in a small group, how many dare at least to air their views? It is not what use will it be - but just an expression of our solidarity with fellow Hindus but we are scared to death as to what will be the reaction of others, what will they think of us? We would rather circulate news that shows Modi and the BJP in poor light but refrain from saying anything to defend our religion, country etc? A Thousand of years of the habits of licking our masters' feet won't go that easily - don't forget we were dominating the ICS which helped the British perpetuate their rule and we are so proud of the fact that our forefathers were in the ICS rather than feeling ashamed. No use talking about Vedas and temples but keeping the mouth shut when it is time to speak out, even if it is a closed group - we will at least develop the habit of speaking out. One example of our cowardice is a few mails, very few though, that I get in my personal mail address and not daring to cc the group. And you are talking about our developing spines - Ha, ha, ha. We will see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil - after all we are the most sickular lot and say all religions say the same thing - One God, conveniently forgetting that others say ONLY their God is God while we say God is one but He can be worshipped in nay name, form etc. But why bother? Our children are sage in the U S and Europe - leave Bharat to the Natives to worry about. The anti Hindu, anti Bharat mob comes to power because we Hindus including brahmins, vote for them. We specialize in scratching our heads with a burning stick. As Bhartiyar said "Nenju Porukkuthillaye indha nilai ketta mandarai ninindhu vittal" - meaning my heart cannot help but bleed when I think of these selfish, spineless, cowardly people. Who says we need enemies? We will practice tolerance so long as it does not affect us, and worse, preach it to the few who dare to question.
