A1          Sanatan facts, Surendra Kumar Kumawat,8h

Once the gods became proud of theirpower. When Mother Durga saw thearrogance of
the gods, she appeared in the form of a beam of light. Indra sentPawandev to
know the secret of the huge thunderbolt.

Pawandev called himself the most powerfuldeity. ThenTejpunj placed a straw in
front of Vayudev and challenged him to blow the straw.Even after using all his
strength, Pawandev could not move that straw. After this, when Agnidev came, he
challenged him to burn this straw, but Agnidev failed.

Afterthe defeat of these two gods, Devraj Indra's pride broke and heworshiped
Tejpunj. Mother Goddess appeared there andadvised not to be arrogant.

Q3         What made you smile today?

A3         Manuj Jindal, CEO Zila Parishad atGovernment of India
(2021–present)3y

Ido not like to boast or talk about myself, but something I did around 3 months
back brought a HUGE smileto my face.

I joined my first posting as IAS inGadchiroli in Nov.2019. In the early days of
the posting, I explored the area and spoke to thepeople. I visited many
tribals’ homes in the region and their villages —generally on bike (even though
I have a government vehicle) because tribalvillagers feel more comfortable
speaking to me if I come on a bike. Duringthese trips, the one thing that I
understood was that the tribal community hadan incredible artistic sense and
talent.

I came across an old, dilapidatedTehsildarbuilding. I decided to convert it
into a Tribal Arts and Craft training center.

AsI finish my 3 months in Bhamragad, #Gadchiroli, proud to share transformation
of an old, dilapidated Tehsildar building into asparkling, new training center
in art and craft for #Tribalstudents.

See for yourself Now training 36 PVTGstudents ***After Hats off to
thiscommunity!!Thank you everyone involved in this project!!

My note- See how humbly anewly joined IAS answers. Culture and humbleness of a
lady officer. I cannotremain without appreciating these talented officers.

Onreading it I am ashamed of a member in our group, in a similar cadre
quarrelsome and argumentative, without my mentioning  all members know him

Q5         What is something that most peopledon't know?

A5         Aditya Bhutra, I wanted adventure, so Icame to London | CA 3h

Peoplemight imagine that living in London means a fancy, carefree life with
noworries, where you can do whatever you want.

But let me tell you what daily lifeis really like here:

1. Morning Hustle: You wake up at 7a.m. and makeyour own breakfast because
hiring a cook or maid is too expensive. So, if yourspouse or mom prepares your
meals, appreciate them.

2. Office Professionalism: At work, youneed to be super professional, unlike
anywhere else.

3. Working Lunch: Many folks eat lunchwhile working to save time andbe more
productive.

4. Missing Home Flavors: You'll missthe rich taste ofIndian cuisine here. No
more strong chai or tasty street food; you have to relyon restaurants.

5. Evening Cook: After work, you mustcook dinner foryourself, and the
not-so-fun part is cleaning the kitchen anddishes afterwards.

6. High Cost of Living: The UK ispricey. Ifyou earn 100% of your salary, you
might have to spend around 40-60% of it onrent. Doesn't sound too fun, right?
