Respected sirs, Today I had a discussion with Manager, SBI Madampakkam on the issue of closing a fixed deposit premature if any of them deceased. As per the information if death certificate is produced the TDR can be closed premature at any time if it is created perfectly. According to him, asking for anything else may on the grounds TDR is not correctly prepared. He has no remembrance of any R BI instruction in this regard. He is recently promoted as Bank manager. This is just an information and need not be a hundred percent authoritative information. Gopalakrishnan
