YM: When education takes to the paradigm of emotional interactions in and

of nature. We must be aware, that we simply cannot live naturally anywhere
else outside our earth. We cannot live on the Moon, or in any of the
planets of our solar system or in any of the moons of those planets. We can
live only on earth and that too as a part, component, limb, sprout and
ingredient of earth. Then can we be indifferent to the hovering nuclear

The frenzy for technology is changing into frenzy of destruction and the

KR: Paradigm of nature: The phrase "paradigm of nature" can refer to
different concepts, and its meaning may vary depending on the context in
which it is used. In general, it is often associated with ideas related to
the fundamental principles and patterns that govern the natural world. Here
are a few possible interpretations:
Scientific Paradigm: In a scientific context, the "paradigm of nature"
might refer to the dominant or prevailing framework of understanding and
explaining natural phenomena within a particular field of science. For
example, the shift from a geocentric to a heliocentric model of the solar
system represents a significant change in the paradigm of how we view the
natural world.
Ecosystem Paradigm: In ecology and environmental science, the paradigm of
nature can refer to the study of ecosystems and the interconnected
relationships between various living organisms and their environment. This
perspective emphasizes the importance of understanding the natural world as
a complex, interdependent system.
Philosophical or Spiritual Paradigm: Some individuals and philosophical
traditions view "nature" as a concept with deep philosophical or spiritual
implications. The paradigm of nature in this context may refer to the idea
that nature, the universe, or the natural world holds intrinsic value,
meaning, or wisdom.
Sustainability Paradigm: In discussions of sustainability and environmental
conservation, the paradigm of nature might involve recognizing the
importance of preserving and protecting natural systems for the well-being
of both humans and the planet. It can relate to a shift in thinking from
exploiting nature to coexisting with it in a more harmonious way.
Artistic and Aesthetic Paradigm: For artists and creative thinkers, the
paradigm of nature can represent the inspiration and beauty found in the
natural world. Nature has been a recurring theme in art, literature, and
other creative forms throughout history.
The interpretation of the "paradigm of nature" can vary significantly based
on the context and the field of study. It often reflects the way people
perceive, interact with, and understand the natural world, whether through
scientific inquiry, ecological awareness, philosophical contemplation,
artistic expression, or other perspectives.

The idea that nature is universal, beyond space and time, reflects a
philosophical perspective that suggests that the fundamental principles and
laws governing the natural world are constants that transcend the
constraints of space and time. This concept can be approached from various
viewpoints:

   1.

Scientific Universality: In science, there is an assumption that the
laws of nature are consistent and apply universally throughout the
observable universe. Scientific theories and principles are formulated to
describe natural phenomena and are believed to be valid under various
conditions and at different points in time.
   2.

Philosophical Universality: Some philosophical perspectives propose that
nature or natural truths are eternal and unchanging, existing beyond the
limitations of time and place. This idea has been explored in various
philosophical traditions, such as metaphysics and ontology.
   3.

Cosmological Universality: The study of cosmology and the universe's
origins often involves questions about the fundamental laws and constants
that have shaped the cosmos. The belief in universal physical laws, such as
gravity or electromagnetism, is integral to our understanding of the
   universe's behavior.
   4.

Environmental Universality: In the context of environmental and
ecological concerns, the concept of universal ecological principles
suggests that certain principles governing ecosystems and the interactions
between living organisms and their environment apply universally,
regardless of geographical or temporal differences.

However, it's essential to note that while the idea of universality in
nature is a foundational assumption in science and philosophy, it is not
without its complexities and challenges. Scientific theories evolve as new
evidence emerges, and there are still open questions about the extent to
which our current scientific understanding applies universally, especially
in extreme conditions or at very large or small scales, such as in the
study of quantum mechanics and the behavior of the universe at the moment
of the Big Bang.

In essence, the concept that nature is universal beyond space and time is a
fundamental premise in our efforts to understand and explain the natural
world, but it is continually subject to scrutiny and refinement as our
knowledge deepens. KR IRS 24 10 23

*Mar*The Frenzy for and of Technology

Thanks to science and the scientific temperament, we no longer care to note
and register the fact that we are all part of the planet earth or of the
emotional Gaia. We adopt the attitude of the outsider who is observing and
living in the make believe that we are simply not touched by the continuous
changes happening in nature. The basic emotional bond, based on breathing,
that makes you part, participant, limb, sprout and ingredient of the planet
earth, must be ignored for the spectator or scientific attitude, the
attitude of emotional indifference. You have to ignore the fact that living
is living in symbiotic emotions.

Now, the war between Russia and the Ukraine has already resulted in the
death of more than five lakh soldiers. The war in the Middle East, with the
nuclear armed American aircraft carriers, ready to join the war, is taking
us to the ultimate nuclear holocaust. In Sudan now genocide is happening
but that genocide is not worth noting, it has no news value, as it is
happening to the African blacks. The bomb in Hiroshima that roasted alive
immediately more than a lakh people was just 13 kilo tons TNT.Now the
normal small nuclear bomb is in mega tons or in millions of TNT and their
total number is in thousands. There are also the tactical nuclear weapons.
We just do not know the total number of life forms that get killed, even in
the explosion of a small bomb. For all of us, war as long as it does not
affect us is actually exciting and entertaining news, and cine writers are
busy fantasizing and adding to the tragedy to create success in the box
office. Emotion must be only for excitement, not as communication and
certainly not to create empathy as it robs us of sleep.

But we have to start the education of the tiny tot, with the first
paradigmatic lesson that it is part of nature, of the planet earth. We have
to make it practice breathe, smell, identify and gradually perceive,
perceive emotionally, not mechanically with cultivated indifference to
emotions. The child must be trained to feel nature, in nature and not
lectured at in AC classroom, in the artificial air.

Let us just contemplate what will happen when we adopt the paradigm of
emotions. Let us now just concentrate say on the equatorial evergreen
forests. In those thick and lush forests, there is a wide variety of flora
and fauna. All those life forms inhale the smell messages of the other
organisms and exhale responses, creating rivers and oceans of emotions in
the troposphere. Those rivers flow into every organism and they collect
emotion feeds from them. That activity impacts and molds every minute of
our emotional life. Then the destruction and devastation of nature, the
death, devastation and deprivation of many life forms, cannot continue as
mere academic news where one can be indifferent. When one gets accustomed
to feeling self as a macro body and macro being, the wounds inflicted on
nature now will touch us.

When education takes to the paradigm of emotional interactions in and with
nature, nature automatically becomes the partner in the great college of
nature. We must be aware, that we simply cannot live naturally anywhere
else outside our earth. We cannot live on the Moon, or in any of the
planets of our solar system or in any of the moons of those planets. We can
live only on earth and that too as a part, component, limb, sprout and
ingredient of earth. Then can we be indifferent to the hovering nuclear
disaster, which burns red every life form, a prospect now staring at us?
The frenzy for technology is changing into frenzy of destruction and the
takeover of terror in the air we breathe. Take the kids to nature and make
them practice smell and identify.
