Q1         DidNikola Tesla figure out how to light a bulb wirelessly?

A1          Silk Road,23h

Nikola Tesla was a genius who wanted to light upthe world with wireless
electricity. He hadthis crazy idea that he could send power through the air,
the ground, or even thewhole planet.

He built this huge tower in Long Island, calledWardenclyffe, that was supposed
to be the first ofmany stations that would transmit electricity without wires.

He even made some bulbs glow from a distanceusing magnetic induction.

But did he really figure out how to light a bulbwirelessly?

Well, notexactly.See, Tesla'sexperiments were based on some flawed theories.

He thoughthe could use radio frequency resonance to create electrical energy
through twocoils and send it over long distances.

He alsothought he could use the Earth as a conductor and make it "quiver"with
electricity.

But he was wrong about both of these things.

Radio frequency resonance can only work over shortdistances, and the Earth is
not a good conductor of electricity.

Plus, sending electricity through the air wouldrequire a lot of power and be
very inefficient and dangerous.

Tesla nevergot to test his long-distance transmission idea, because his funding
was cut off by J.P. Morgan, who wasmore interested in wireless communication
than wireless power.

Tesla'stower was eventually demolished and his dream was never realized. But his
legacy lives on in some of the technologies we usetoday, like wireless charging
and Wi-Fi.

So, toanswer your question, Tesla did not figure out how to light a bulb
wirelesslyin a practical way.

He did somecool experiments with wireless power transmission, but they were
limited by hisfaulty assumptions and lack of resources.

He was ahead of his time, butalso behind the science.

Q2         Whatis the interesting story of florist and barber?

A2          Anna R. Welliver, 7h

One day aflorist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about
his bill, and the barber replied, 'Icannot accept money  from you, I'm
doingcommunity service this week.'

The floristwas pleased and left the shop. When the barber went to open his shop
the nextmorning, there was a'thankyou' card and a dozen roses waiting for him
at his door.

Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when hetries to pay his bill, the
barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you,I'm doing community
service this week.' The cop was happy and left the shop.

The next morning when the barber went to open up,there was a 'thank you' card
and a dozen doughnuts waiting for him at his door.

Then a Member of political party came in for ahaircut, and when he went to pay
his bill, thebarber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing
communityservice this week.' The Member of Congress was very happy and left the
shop.

The nextmorning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen Members of
thepolitical party lined up waiting for a free haircut.

And that, myfriends, illustrates thefundamental difference between the citizens
of our country and the politicianswho run it. If you don't forward this you
have no sense of humour.

My note- Ihave added this QA  for humour only, Nothingmore.

Q4         Whatis the story behind Diwali?

A4          Kuldeep Singh - Spiritual Master,SpiritualitySun

Diwali, also known as Deepavali, is a significantHindu festival celebrated
bymillions of people in India and around the world. It is a multi-day
festivalwith several mythological stories and legends associated with it. One
of the most popular and widelyrecognized stories behind Diwali is the return of
Lord Rama to Ayodhya afterdefeating the demon king Ravana.

Here's a brief overview of the story:

The Exile of Lord Rama: The story of Diwali isprimarily narrated in the ancient
Indian epic, the Ramayana. Lord Rama, an avatarof Lord Vishnu, was exiled from
his kingdom of Ayodhya for 14 years. His wife,Sita, and his loyal brother,
Lakshmana, accompanied him into the forest.

Abduction of Sita: During their exile, the demonking Ravana kidnapped Sita and
took her to his kingdom in Lanka (modern-day SriLanka). Rama and Lakshmana,
with the help of an army of monkeys led by Hanuman, waged a great battle to
rescue Sita.

Victory of Good over Evil: After a fierce battle,Lord Rama ultimately defeated
Ravana, symbolizing the victory of good over evil. This event is celebrated
asDussehra, which occurs ten days before Diwali.

Return to Ayodhya: After the victory, Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana returned to
Ayodhya. The people of Ayodhya, overjoyed at thereturn of their beloved prince,
welcomed them by lighting oil lamps, decoratingthe city with candles and diyas,
and bursting fireworks.

Festival of Lights: The lighting of lamps and thejubilant celebration in
Ayodhya is believed to be the origin of the festival ofDiwali, symbolizing the
triumph of light over darkness and the victory of goodover evil. Diwali is also
associated with the worship of Goddess Lakshmi, thegoddess of wealth and
prosperity, and the beginning of the Hindu New Year insome regions.

While the story of Lord Rama is the most well-known,Diwali is also celebrated
for various other reasons, depending on the region and cultural traditions.

In differentparts of India, Diwali holds different significance, but the
central theme ofthe triumph of light over darkness and the victory of good over
evil remainsconstant. It is a time for familygatherings, festive meals, the
exchange of gifts, and the lighting of lamps andfireworks.
