Sometimes divinity strikes
Last march when we were here in the USA my mother-in-law
Annapoorani Ammal, passed away at 92 in New Jersey USA. She lost her
husband a few years back whom I respect as a learned man, expert in
astrology and Vedic verses and retired as a design Eng from Punalur Paper
Mills Kerala. My wife is the eldest and her other sisters are well settled
in India and the USA. Only son was not making good a thorn in the flesh
which alone made my, in laws worried till his end; he died after my father-
in- law death where we were doing our best to redeem my father-in-law but
could not do anything more; we were in the main parts of his soul
departing. My brother- in- law died having married a cross thread two years
later. Last year my mother-in-law expired.
My wife loves her so much. And shastras do not accept non brahmin
acts as shraddha to their grandmother and son is no more. Sisters are
younger in age. So, the best thing I could do was initiating the masikam
regularly that too in her place of birth tambraparani river Dheere
Tirunelveli through ANDI VADYAR KANCHI MUTT FAMOUS (NOW NO MORE) sishya to
perform online. The abda poorthy was completed yesterday 10th Apr 2024 at
Tambraparani theera Sringeri Mutt premises with Rig, Yajur, sama Vedis 6
hrs doing the poorthy of a year. M in law was born their G K village;
married R S village of Tirunelveli; settled in Kerala for 40 years and took
care of her family so brilliant; after getting 4 daughters married in good
positions, the oldies went to USA to NJ stayed with the daughters including
us; and was there as a citizen with US care; and how come she had the last
rites performed at Tamiraparani River close by is my wonder. Anyeshti of
the seventh line could get it with lots of dhanam around 9AM in India after
all homams from Navagraha, blessing the family with chants which we were
interacting with technology at night 10 30 PM here in Dallas. Great soul, a
strong woman and we bow our heads to her. As her name is so her deeds. My
wife and myself were tool. Money is not everything.
And a couple of hours back call from there from the Andi vadyar
sishya; we terminated around 11 PM yesterday; so, after that only all
vadhyars of eminence (I will not entertain wrong products) had their lunch
and had assembled at the hall it appears. He did not want to disturb us as
> 11 PM here; so called today morning and narrated this: while the
vadhyars were there including the sishya, a widow came to the Sringeri mutt
and asked for the THEERTHAM; HE ENTERTAINED HER AND GAVE THE KOOJA VESSEL
WATER KEPT THERE AS DHANAM IMMEDIATELY WITH FRUITS ; IT APPEARS SHE NEGATED
THE FRUITS AND TOOK ONLY THE THEERTHAM; AND WHILE LEAVING HE ASKED HER
DETAIL AS WE NORMALLY DO; SHE SAID HER NAME IS VASANTHA BUT AT HOME CALLED
AS ANNAPOORANI. STUNNED COINCIDENCE OR DEVINE.? K RAJARAM IRS 10 4 24
