A clarion call forwarded and carved a poem ignore if bad but vote Do not
perish. K Rajaram IRS 30424

VOTE OR PERISH
In the land of freedom, where voices soar, A sacred duty, we can't ignore.
The power to choose, in every hand, To shape our fate, to make our stand.

Through fields of debate, we must tread, Where ideas clash and dreams are
fed. In the ballot's ink, our hopes align, A symphony of voices, yours and
mine.

Vote, oh vote, let your voice resound, In every corner, let it be found.
For in this act, we claim our right, Steer our ship NOT PERISH IN NIGHT.

So heed the call, let your ballot fly, For in its mark, our future lies.
Vote not for gain, nor for wealth or fame, But for the world we wish to
claim.

For in the silence of the booth, we see, The power of one, the strength to
be free. So vote or perish, let your choice be clear, For in democracy, our
dreams draw near.

*VOTING DAY*

Suppose today is *Voting Day*. It’s Hot and Humid outside. Just the idea of
going out at this time in intense Heat and Humidity is repulsive.

*TIME FOR YOU TO THINK OF SIALKOT.*

SIALKOT was a large industrial hub, busling town in Punjab, only 42
kilometers from Jammu (India) while 135 kilometers from Lahore ( Pakistan )
.

Vast Majority, Prosperous and factory owners were Hindus. Hindu population
was about 20 % more than the Muslims. To decide it's fate whether this
industrial town should go to INDIA or PAKISTAN, Referendum was to be held.

While, most Hindus felt lazy enough to go out and vote, Minority Muslims
came out in large numbers to Vote, to Vote for inclusion of SIALKOT in
Pakistan inspite of their small numbers.

*Their will prevailed *because they had voted En block for Sialkot to be
given to Pakistan. And Sialkot went to Pakistan because of Muslim voters
turning out in large numbers and Hindus, on the contrary, did not come to
vote because of Laziness, Heat and Humidity.

Thus, majority Hindu population were killed, Converted or Migrated
penniless to India.

Hindus: Either *VOTE OR PERISH.*

*Story of SIALKOT is still relevant today for non-voting Hindus whose
children may live as servants of this so-called minority community.*

I write all this because SIALKOT was my birth place. Our family was land
owners, factory owners and rich business people. But had to move out as
paupers to save our lives.

*On Voting Day think of this story and remember that this actually
happened.*

*Then decide whether to VOTE or SPEND A LAZY DAY AT HOME.*
