She *built the Howrah Bridge over the Ganga*ππ River and played a key role in the establishment of Kolkata city. 2. She *prevented the British from imposing taxes on Bengalβs rivers*πͺπ and ensured that Durga processions were never restricted. 3. She *constructed the Dakshineswar Temple*ππ in Kolkata and appointed her close associate, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, as its first priest. 4. She built Babu Ghat and Neem Tala Ghat to facilitate access to the Ganga for the people of Kolkata. 5. She π *restored the Shankaracharya Temple in Srinagar.* π 6.
