I felt
this E-mail was very important concerning
Witchcraft.
All information below is taken from
various chapters within my book
The Journey into
Witchcraft
Which color are
you:
White Witches, Black Witches and Grey Witches.
Witchcraft bears no color and the whole concept this stems
toward is good verses evil; this bears no place within The
Craft. Witches are balanced human beings, and the color
association tends to fall towards the concept of heaven and
hell or good witch/bad witch which completely eludes my
rational thinking. A Witch is a Witch. None of us are perfect
for we are human and in such we all have good and bad within
us. We are a part of nature and in such we all screw up at
times!
Fluffy and Witchcraft:
Witchcraft is not
fluffy. This whole concept of fluff is ridiculous. Nature is
not one-sided and so Witchcraft is not either. I get tired of
seeing people hopping around spouting off about love and
light. At what point did "true nature" become less focused
upon. Nature can be soothing and calming but it can also be
treacherous. This is the reality; you will learn so much more
when you are faced and open to both. I have been to both sides
and yes, they are different but I learned from both. The dark
is not "evil" I think this concept to be ridiculous and the
concept of evil we must remember is not a Pagan concept.
People tend to forget that the deities in which we honor and
believe reside within the whole of all planes. Therefore, only
focusing upon one aspect and completely forgetting about the
other is not balanced and makes no sense to me.
Magick
and the dark side:
Magick is natural; the forces of
nature make the magick happen. To expose one side of magick
without explaining the importance of the other side is a
completely inaccurate way of thinking. Some forces within the
realm of magick are light and some are not. The very thought
of placing no emphasis on the balancing factor completely
distorts everything that we believe. Balanced thinking creates
a very powerful person.
The dark side of magick is not
some dirty little secret. I would strongly suggest to people
whom deny the forces to open your eyes to the truths that
reside within The Craft and Mother Nature. The Ancient Ones
used this type of magick and believe me they were far more
educated and informed than we as modern day Witches are.
Ancients not only knew of the great powers that reside within
the universe they lived within the realm of magick each day of
their existence. They were not one sided they were open to all
aspects within nature. This I can assure youâ
The Dark
Side of the Craft My personal journey into
understanding:
As I walk within the darkness, I feel
the power surge;
Speaking to the underworld, I can feel the
love emerge;
Compassion resides within the dark, a
caring God I see;
I am seeking to understand it all; as he
gently speaks to me;
From whence you came, you have
now returned to the depth of your soul;
Wisdom comes to
those who seek the truth that resides within the whole;
Balance resides within the great realms; speak the
truth you must;
You seek the truth and understand the
depths; I feel your inner trust;
Closed eyes will gain
nothing from within the true ways;
You are walking within
both worlds each and every day;
We seek not to cause
fear; for that is not our means;
Yet many only experience
us within the night, within their dreams;
Your path
has led you here; you seek to learn something new;
Many
embark upon this journey, yet I speak with only a
few;
You come not for personal gain; yet you seek only
to understand the love that resides here;
Within your heart
you knew our ways; I have felt your pain and have seen your
tears;
Evil is not within our realm; ugliness comes
from within and beauty as well resides there;
My outward
appearance is of no importance, for you can feel what's inside
of me and you know that I care;
You see with open eyes
and you look deep into the soul;
I know your path for it is
great; you shall attain your ultimate goal;
Wisdom
comes to only a few, the eyes must remain open. For it is a
gift that is given to only the hearts of the true;
Many lay
claim to know us and title themselves as such; Hear me now and
understand we know only but a few;
I ask for a
message; that I may tell to all in whom I speak;
Give me
you words for you know my heart and you know what it is I
seek;
"Darkness is but an outward appearance and love
encompasses all;
Fall not upon the lies and listen only to
the ones who are truly called";
"For within the light
you shall find the dark and from within the dark you shall
find the light;
For all has a purpose and is required; for
as with each day you shall have the night;"
The
previous is an overview of my journey into the dark. I was
given a great understanding of the dark on this day. I strive
to assist others in understanding what I encountered. The dark
is not about evil, for if you remember our own teachings we do
not believe in the concept of pure evil; we must remember
where the "good verses evil" concept came from and I can
assure you it was not The Old Religion.
