Yes that is a work-around, but then I could not just run theroin in the directory and have it automatically pick up the config file - I would have to give an option. The real reason for pointing it out is that Therion does not give a useful error when you do this. It should say something like "Current dir <foo> cannot open <path>' ", so that you could work out that you opened the wrong file.
