I have a similar problem with a person going by several names over the years of the project. A person got married part way through, so all early documentation are for Miss A Jones say, then she became Mrs A Smith. I could change them all to be Mrs A Smith but would prefer not too.
Others have had nicknames or sometimes extra initials added.
Could we have a equate command like

equate name"A Smith" "A Jones" "Ann Smith" # the first one being the one used in the compilation. Thus all the statistics for that person become correct.

It could also be used to remove unwanted or erronious names

equate name "" "PersonWhoDidNotAttend"

Cheers
John Stevens

Subject: [Therion] Revise command: how to remove persons later on

Hello,
i currently have the following immutable centerline:

--------- immutable.th --------
survey immutable
  centerline -id zug_1
    date 2014.11.15
    team "Some One" notes
    team "Some Other"
    team "PersonWhoDidNot Attend"
  endcenterline

  input extensions.th
endsurvey
--------------------------------

The additional file "extensions.th" could be modified.
I am able to add and change existing persons in the centerline, however i
wonder how i can delete a person afterwards from the revise block:
-------- extensions.th --------
revise zug_1
team "NewPerson added" # new team member
-team "PersonWhoDidNot Attend" # team member i do want to delete: HOW
DOES THIS WORK?
endrevise
-------------------------------

i hope such a possibility exists somehow, or if not, if someone skilled in C
could add this please?

With best regards,
B. Hallinger
