change your function name to : l_wall_unsurveyed_MYLINE
do not forget the code :
initsymbol("l_wall_unsurveyed");
symbol-assign line unsurveyed MYLINE
after enddef; and before endcode;
it will should work.

I'm not sure what I'm missing. I'm first trying to prove I can
override this, and then working on a wall style with a shadow or
external cross-hatching.
