That's my feeling. I'm too beaten down to care. I think parts of it
worked well early on, but then it just seemed like Grant Morrison was
being inscrutable on purpose. I read a separate essay about all the
things D.C. is doing wrong, and the handling of FC is a great example.
We were led to believe that Everything Would Change, but all we got
was an creatively odd, seemingly self-contained story.
