I hadn't heard of The Plan prior to the finale.  IMDB makes it sound like a 1
time 2 hour thing.

I think Caprica will have the first 2 eps on DVD before the series premires.  I
think they will use that to find out what direction fans want the show to go.
Good plan, I think.

Had anyone heard about “Battlestar Galactica: The Plan” prior to the BSG
Finale?  Is that a one-shot or mini-series?

And is “Caprica” now just going to be a DVD, or will it still be a full-run
series?

BSG had more endings and denouement than even LoTR.  The only thing they left
out was Apollo playing Scrabble with the natives.  (geek cred check on that
one!)

I think they could have ended with them landing.  I didn't like that there were
already people on the planet.  "We can teach them!"  Yeah, right.  More like
"We can 'eff up their existence!"  I guess they really aren't into the Prime
Directive.

Even with the scene of them explaining that EVERYBODY wanted a clean start as
an explaination of why they left all their tech, I call BS.  Yeah, the guy with
diabetes is going to be cool with getting rid of the equipment that make
insulin.  And great choice Athena and Helo; hope you enjoy your choice as much
when Hera pricks her finger on a thorn and dies from a blood infection 'cause
there are no antibiotics around.

And how many farmers did they actually have?  Not enough for the 20 groups they
seeded across the planet, I bet.  The poor SOBs that got put in  Canada  in the
summer will be worse off in winter than the pilgrams.  It's a society that more
advanced than we are now.  Can you imagine 38,000 random Americans in that
situation?  I grew up on a farm, and I can't you jack about gardening much
less widescale agriculture.  I don't think the people of the twelve colonies
would be that stupid to think they could survive with that little tech.  Yeah,
Baltar will be a great asset for the small group of people in his area,
but even a lot of his knowledge is based on at least having plows!  They don't
even have any domesticed animals!

I also wasn't wild about the Starbuck and other 'angels'
thing.  Especially having BaltAngel and CapricAngel in present day.  Yeah, a
large part of the show had a spiritual thing going on, but I thought that was a
bit much.

Oh, and thanks Chief for fraking up the armistice!

I don't get why Cavil killed himself.

I knew Starbuck was a playa', but damn, making a play for your BF's brother
while he is passed out in the next room?  What a 'ho.

And Admiral Adama leaving his son to be a hermit?  After everything they have
been through?  What a douche.

I did enjoy the previes fo Stargate Universe, though.  Was it just me, or did
it seem to be filmed using the same style as BSG?  I don't have a prob with
that.

Date: Sunday, March 22, 2009, 8:45 AMI think it was a case of wanting to start
over from scratch completely. Withno fleet in orbit or parked on the planet, it
would have been harder for anevil Cylon fleet to identify them as the Galactica
humans.  If they hadn'tkept all the technology on New Caprica a few years ago,
the Cylons may nothave figured out it was them.  Just a thought.  The
