I would disagree that the Superman books would go to crap without Johns' involvement. Actually I think that DC would be better served by trying to get some different voices in the mix instead of having Johns and Morrison seemingly acting as the only two writers that hold the keys to the kingdom.
I'll check them out because it will be nice to have Bruce Wayne as Batman again and Superman in his own costume. Just saying.
