Thinking about this more. I would be pretty cool even as a secondary screen for a desktop. Maybe you're out of ports and want 3 or 4 monitors. Or just one for slide shows, toolbars, etc.
Even better would be some of the upcoming tablet devices building this functionality in. Because as I've said, I don't think these new Tablets are meant to be laptops.
