Much appreciated, Serv! I'm looking forward to seeing you guys. I've requested that they not pack my panels schedule *quite* so full this year. The last couple of years, they've had me doing between 16 and 18 different panels/events over the four days-- which would be hard enough if I was alone. It's super-tough when dragging around a wife, a pre-teen and an infant!
I also asked them to keep Monday clear so we can go to see Robot Battles. I used to love it but haven't gotten to watch in the last three years due to panel commitments. So far, I expect to be doing a Pulps panel, a Jeopardy tourney and a "superheroes in SF" panel for SF Literature Track, along with the annual Jeopardy/Family Feud tourney for the Comics Track. (Interesting side-note, especially for Michael and Shag-- after talking with Kurt Busiek the other day, I realized I'd been numbering the Jeopardys wrong. It started in 1998, not '99, so the one Steve Rude messed up was actually #11, and so we're up to #13 this year! That also means the 10th Anniversary actually was a good one. Yaay.) --Van On Jun 4, 7:02 am, Jason Service <[email protected]> wrote: > Van, you are more than welcome to join us for a morning/EARLY afternoon > brew...assuming you don't have panels to be on! > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The Unique Geek" group.
