Eh I tried for some humor. This conversation reminds me of the 04 red sox.
Everyone was like yanks are the evil empires sox are the rebels. Then the sox
finally won the world series and it happened again in 07. Then the sox fans me
included realized hey we were the team that was #2 in payroll behind the
Yankees for the last dozen years why the f didn't we win? Then along come the
rays who blow both teams out of the water last year with even less payroll...
Now the sox and yanks are looked at differently. So if you have been actually
following the yanks are ms the sox are apple and Tampa is now droid.

Eventually there will be a paradigm shift in os and platforms I think it's
already started you can tell by the convo on this listserve.

5 years ago it was ubuntu. Next it will be chrome in another five years it will
be another open distro the point I am making is Linux/open source is getting
better every decade it will never be on par with osx or windows until there is
another "Linux" type underdog os available. Then it will be four mainstream
os's and a cult community one. Eh just some random thoughts and Ed why no
futurama love? I am sure your the only one that's read this rambling this far
