That is pretty cool. I am glad that they mentioned alerting the FAA, because I could see such an experiment drawing an armed response and being shot down... which might lead to some cool video, admittedly.
I have to wonder, though: what if that cooler fell through someone's house or car? Oh God forbid hit and killed someone? Seems to me like unless you are in a REALLY unihabited area, you run the risk of causing damage and being liable for it.
