Agreed. I was a bit apprehensive when I saw them going off on a tangent, but the last episode was quite good- very tense, as all good zombie stories should be. I'm curious how the firing of the entire writing staff is going to turn out. They allegedly want to outsource the writing to independents, but there's a pending fight with the writers guild that doesn't want this sort of tactic to become the norm. As for the piracy, what the hell were they thinking? Something that popular needs to capitalized on quickly, TV shows tend to have a short shelf life of widespread popularity.
