as a geek who never read GL, and is only familiar with him from the old Superfriends cartoon and the GL animated movie, i can say it looks like a live action (well, RR's Hal is really alive at least) version of the GL Animated movie (First Flight...i had to look it up, that's how well it stuck with me).
As a Geek, i want to see it...but it isn't the top film i am looking fwd to this summer. I can say in all seriousness that i am more excited about every Marvel Universe film (yes, that includes X-Men First Class) than i am excited for GL.
