Ed, yes, everything is backed up to a Seagate external USB HD.  I may
not be up on the latest and greatest but cmon man.

I guess the main thing for migration would be to get Office for Mac.
I mean, yeah the MP3s, JPEGs, AVIs etc are all going to carry over
alright.  But the DOCs and spreadsheets will be more difficult.

That or get something akin to OpenOffice or such.

Of course this is all speculation because I doubt my wife wants a Mac.
