I would have a hard time with that pay cut also. However, Fox probably thinks they could simply run reruns instead of producing new episodes, even during prime time. With 23 years of content to work from, there has to be zillions of episodes people haven't seen. Even if ratings drop off during the prime time slot with reruns, their expenses will be cut dramatically. Either way, Fox wins. :(
