This isn't explicitly said in the movie, so there's no reason why you should have "gotten it." You guys can let yourselves off the hook. It's been interviews afterward that this has been discussed. Maybe getting lost in all of this is how amazing the trailers were for this movie. Even knowing how bad the film is, I went back and re-watched. I want THAT movie. What a great trailer. boy!
