I may be in the minority but I didn't think Batman Begins was that great a movie as everyone else goes on about. Batman: Year One animated was definitely a better movie. But, possibly like you, I am a big fan of the comic and enjoyed how close the movie was to the book. Also, it may be because of the different audiences you may have for both movies. Comic book fans may enjoy Batman: Year One more because it was close to the book whereas Batman Begins was for a more general audience.
