Looks like they are combining Wrath of Khan with Generations (the crashing scene).
However, right now I'm perfectly happy to be sucked into the trailer joy. If I don't love the movie, at least I will have had several months of loving the trailer. Better to have loved a trailer and lost, then never loved a movie at all.
