I could see why specific software and an included Wacom stylus would be important to him. For a vast majority of users those wouldn't be of any use, and both Android and iOS devices are compatible with pressure-sensitive styluses. The desktop version of Photoshop isn't there, but only the Pro Surface would have that; the RT would be in the same boat as other tablets. As for gaming, I'd take an iPad over a surface any day- it's got better graphics performance and more apps to take advantage of it. I've never played Halo or some of the other Microsoft only games, so I don't have some of the same wants. Sent from my iPhone
