Hey everyone. My wife was watching the JJ Abrams Star Trek on FX yesterday, and I lamented to her that she will watch the remake of Trek but not the original. This ended up with me saying that she might like Trek more in written form than on TV because in a book, nothing looks cheesy. She seemed to agree with the premise. I've read a bunch of ST novels over the years and wanted to ask the group's opinion: What's a good novel or set of novels for someone who only knows the barebones minimum of Trek?
