Cary, let me ask you a question -- do you routinely watch out of market 
games on Sundays?  I ask because I know here in the upstate I can pull down 
the Panthers OTA for free using a digital antenna.  I'd also get the other 
two games as well (my AFC "local" team is Tennessee, plus the national game 
on whichever network).  Sunday Ticket does not cover the NBC Sunday night 
game nor MNF, IIRC.  
 
I imagine that the NFL knew it was leaving money on the table by not 
offering this service as standalone. Definitely huge news on the "how you 
watch the game" front.
