How old are you? I'm starting a fast only I will be going from longer then a couple days. Last year I fasted and during it i read that the 3rd and 4th days are the worst, but after that your body starts to tap into your fat storage and desire for food is almost zip. Very true, or at least thats what I found the last time. I went for almost 10 full days, but added it w/ a horrible binge.. this time I am determined to do better. My goal is 14 days, but I might just go 10. I'm already half way through day 2 and feeling great. I know it sounds like a huge sacrafice, but after the fast I want to start a strict diet and I know that i will gain at least 5 lbs back from the fast before I can lose anymore. I'm at about 146 right now and I'm 5'5. I also started a trigger book, yesterday. I think it's a great idea. I read on a webpage that it's great motivation to write down a list of 'wants' I'm going to add that today. Examples: I want to be happy, I want to look good, i want to be comfortable w/ my body, I want to have fun shopping, i want to LOVE shoppiing... etc... i don't remember the last time I went shopping and didn't end up feeling horrible about myself.
Well, I blabbled on and on about me a bunch. Write back and let us all know how your fast is going. I will do the same and consider that want list: it sounds like it will really help organize your goals and emotions.
