Ok I have been looking a little closer at my output. When I run "make"
the bottom of the output looks like this...

make install-am
g++  -Wall -g -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -O3 -DNDEBUG  -arch x86_64 -o
indexer indexer.o libsphinx.a -L/opt/local/lib/postgresql83/ -lpq -
L/usr/local/lib
ld warning: in indexer.o, file is not of required architecture
ld warning: in libsphinx.a, file is not of required architecture
ld warning: in /opt/local/lib/postgresql83//libpq.dylib, file is not
of required architecture
Undefined symbols:
  "_main", referenced from:
      start in crt1.10.5.o
ld: symbol(s) not found
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [indexer] Error 1
make[1]: *** [install] Error 2
make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1

It seems that I'm having a problem within the "make". I will do some
more research to see if I can find the solution. If anyone else has
come across this - their input is welcome.
