Hi Josh I've used Sphinx 2.0.x locally with no problems - have not yet tried it on production sites yet, but I do plan to roll it out on Flying Sphinx at some point - I'll probably use the edge source though, so I can get MVAs for realtime indices (no, TS doesn't support RT indices yet, but I'm slowly thinking through how it could).
For others keen to give it a shot - make sure you're using the latest TS releases (2.0.5 for Rails 3, 1.4.6 for Rails 2.x/1.2). Anything earlier won't work properly.
