I'm not sure if my unit has a 7200 RPM or not, I would hope so. I know some of the newer hdds have 8 or 16m RAM cache to speed up disk access, I don't think the drive that shipped w/my unit has that. :| Does the T60p suffer from the same hard drive compatibility problems that other IBM machines do? I've seen some traffic on the list from people having a hard time getting hard drives to work inside various Thinkpad models.
