hello,I have the following behavior with my battery: it goes to 100% at some point. Then, if I start using it, it goes down to 0% eventually, even if I keep reconnecting the thinkpad to a power supply (meaning, everytime i disconnect it, another chunk is gone, but it does not return even if i connect the thinkpad back.)
when the battery is completely finished and i let it become 0% it will start loading again up to 100%, and then the whole process repeats. my question is: 1. is there a way to fix the battery (it seems like it CAN do something), or should I just replace it? 2. how much fixing would cost? if fixing is not worth it, can someone recommend on a cheap safe online place to get a battery? i am talking about a thinkpad t42 here. thanks. _______________________________________________ Thinkpad mailing list [email protected] http://stderr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/thinkpad
