I have a T60 and a T60p, and posted a similar question a few months back... I ended up putting the 7200rpm WD 320gb drive into the T60, and have had no problems. I do worry about the platter spinning at such a high speed, as I don't want to bump the computer and have the heads dig into the platter (even with the active protection system, it is still a risk).
That said, I'm waiting for WD to release the 7200rpm 500gb drive for my T61p...
