I have yet to see a GPS failure in a T-42, and we service a great number
of
them for sales teams and such.
The GPU and USB failures are related (though you can have one without the
other), and are a real issue whether or not you have seen it. When I called
EZ-serve about ours, they didn't even suggest I go through the usual cycle
of driver reinstalls etc that they usually subject you to when you call with
such issues. "USB out? T42? Yeah, alright, a box is on its way."
For corporate machines these failures could be less prevalent either because
the machines are flexed less, or because your customers use USB devices less
(so don't notice them).
