Pinkish/reddish hue equals nothing but a backlight (CCFL) in the LCD going bad.
You can replace the backlight yourself, but it's quite a tedious job. Given that you're dealing with a standard 14" LCD for T4x series, you're likely better off replacing the whole LCD, or swapping an entire lid. Good luck.
