You can easily increase the size of things on your screen to make them easier to read and find. Just because you have high resolution doesn't mean everything has to be small. Text size can be upped, size of the title bars and scroll bars, icon size, etc. The great thing with a hi-res screen is that you can adjust the stuff as it suits you. So you can have nice, big text but still have tons of screen realestate.
