Hello,

On the T61p, the internal SATA drive was running Windows Vista SP2 x64,
on the UltraBay, Windows Vista SP1 x86. Both OS installations were
retail Windows Vista Ultimate Edition installs, not OEM versions from
Lenovo. I also did when I had Windows Vista x64 SP1 on the internal
drive and Windows XP Professional x86 SP2 on the UltraBay drive.

Since I last did this, I have wiped the OS partition on the internal
SATA drive and installed Windows 7 RC1, but I would not expect it to
behave any differently.

Re: Can one boot T4x with two bootable drives installed?

Interesting.? Was that with XP, and did the other drive have an active, bootable C partition?? I was told of a case where both drives were rendered unbootable, and supposedly both registries were corrupted. I'm curious if this will work, but not curious enough to risk that.

Hello,

I have done this most recently on a T61p using an UltraBay SATA HDD
adapter with the hard disk drive from a T60 in it.? Everything worked
fine.
