My venerable T4x (I call it that because the bezel says it's a T42 but the s/n
says it's a T40, or vice versa, I always forget) is ailing. The power connector
isn't actually broken, but the metal tab that's supposed to contact the outside
of the barrel of the plug (coming from the brick) isn't touching the barrel any
more. I don't see any way to get at the back of the tab to bend it back.

Any suggestions? I know replacing these plugs is a common job -- I see lots of
folks on the 'net who specialize in it. But mostly that's intended for a truly
*broken* connector; this seems like if I could just get back there, I'd be able
to push it back and it'd work for another few years...

Thanks in advance for any ideas!
